Voting Rights for People with Disabilities

Why Vote?

Disability Rights Mississippi, as a private, non-profit, has a commitment and a mission to do what we can to promote more fulfilled lives for the people we serve in MS. As a non-profit we are also committed to better, healthier, and more inclusive communities for all.  Democracy plays a key role in the decision making process for the most basic of decisions being made in each community and we encourage everyone, and especially people with disabilities to have their voices heard in this process. It is your right, and it is your fight.  What better way to have your voice heard than to take part in the process? Take part in your civic life!

"But people with developmental disabilities are vulnerable to having their rights withheld."
